For the app to accurately calculate shipping costs, you must import and regularly update your product information within the Custom Integration System (CIS).
When a potential buyer requests a shipping quote, your website will transmit the product SKU to the CIS, where the associated product details—such as dimensions, weight, package type, and pickup location—will be retrieved. These details are then sent to the Big Post system to generate a quote or create the job. Therefore, to ensure a successful shipping quote, every product on your Shopify or WooCommerce store must have an associated SKU.
From the Products page on the CIS, you can add, view, and import products, specify package dimensions, and adjust individual product settings as needed.

Incorrect or mismatched SKUs will lead to incorrect shipping costs offered to the buyer.
Incorrect dimensions being declared can incur additional fees passed on to you from the carrier.
Add
Product
You can manually add a product by simply clicking the ‘Add Product’ button. All of the fields here are required. This includes selecting shipping types, warehouses and correct 'package types'.

Important: Ensure that the SKU in the CIS matches the product information in your Shopify or WooCommerce store.
Enable Widget: Tick this option to enable the quick quote widget and offer a shipping quote on a product's page. You might choose to untick this option for exclusive products whose costs are 'Price on Application', for example.
Note: This option is only visible once the product is saved.
Name: Name of the product.
SKU: SKU information is required to match the product across your e-commerce platform and the CIS for successful quoting or job bookings.
Shipping Types: Turn the services you wish to offer your customers on or off. The Use Admin setting can be set within the General tab of the CIS settings.
Authority To Leave: Customise this setting per product or use your default 'Admin Setting' to establish whether a delivery can be left in a safe place.
Available in Warehouses: Select the warehouses where this product is stocked.
We recommend adding the minimum possible number of warehouse locations to the CIS to avoid timing-out issues during quoting. Please see Warehouse Locations for more information. Packages: You have the option to add multiple packages for a single product by adding additional package lines. You can add or remove packages by clicking the relative button and entering the package details. For example, if you're selling a portable basketball hoop delivered to the customer in two separate packages—one carton containing the hoop and another containing the stand—two package lines would be required.
Enter the dimensions for each package and ensure the correct package type is selected. Incorrect product details will affect the accuracy and suitability of shipping quotes.
Item Restrictions
Each of our carriers has different item restrictions based on size, weight and item type. To reduce the risk of your customer not receiving a quote due to incompatible dimensions, weight, or packaging, we recommend staying within the below measurements.
Package Type | Job Type | Max Weight | Max Length & Width | Max Height |
Small Items – Cartons, Satchel, Roll, Bag, Tube, Pack
| All
| *30-40 kg | Two or more over 220 cm | *180-200cm |
Large Items – Pallet, Skid, Crate, Stillage
| Residential and Depot
| *1000 kg | *200-240 cm | 200 cm |
Large Items – Pallet, Skid, Crate, Stillage
| Business
| *9999 kg | *360-600 cm | 200-250 cm |
* Will vary depending on the carrier.
Package restrictions are subject to change without notice.

Any items/packages over 40kg will need to be palletised with the ‘package type’ set to; pallet, skid, crate or stillage. Although 40kg is the limit for cartons, only a select few services allow for these heavy items so it is recommended to palletise all items over 30kg.
The Import Products button will allow you to add products to the CIS from a spreadsheet (CSV file).
Download the sample template or export your existing products to use the .csv file as a guide to import your product information to the app.

Please ensure your CSV file contains no blank lines and no missing values within the dataset, as this may result in failed product imports.
There is a limit of 10,000 packages that can be imported at once.
Export Products to CSV
You can export a list of all your product information saved in the CIS with the click of a button. This will download a CSV spreadsheet of all your products, in the same format required to import CSV.

When importing Shopify products into the CIS, all draft or archived products, as well as any active products without an SKU, will be skipped
By clicking the 'Import Shopify Products' button you may bulk import the name, SKU and weight of your currently active Shopify products directly from your store to the CIS. However, the product dimensions and package type will still need to be set.

Tip: You can import your Shopify products, then export the list to add the dimensions and package type to the .csv file, rather than manually edit each product individually. Once you've saved the required information in the .csv file, you can then import this list which will update the values for each product. See 'Export Products' and 'Import Products via CSV' above for more information.
Import Options
Within the Import Shopify Product button the Import Settings are shown. These settings allow you to set some default values to all products being imported from Shopify. We recommend you choose the most common package type and the warehouses that the imported products will be available at. After the import is complete, you must correct the weight, and add the dimensions, package type and warehouse location. You may also set the settings for each product.

The 'Overwrite Existing' option will update the products with matching SKUs and add any new SKUs to the CIS. Please note that any manual changes you may have already made on the CIS will be overwritten.

As Shopify does not record length, height, width and package type, this information still needs to be manually entered or imported to the CIS.
On the products list, clicking the edit button will allow you to edit the product.

Deleting the product in the CIS will not delete the product in Shopify. If the deleted product is still available on your website, shipping quote attempts will result in an error as the required item data is unavailable. Make sure that the deleted product does not exist on Shopify to avoid such errors.
